Executive Board

Governor: Sara AlMidany

I am a sophomore majoring in Emergency Medical Services hoping to to have a career in the medical field. I was born and raised in Damascus, Syria and I speak Arabic fluently. I joined Key Club four years ago and I have been in CKI for 2 years now. I am so excited to serve as the Southwest District Governor. My email is: saraalmid@unm.edu

Secretary: Selena Richardson

I’m Selena Richardson and I am your Southwest District Secretary! I am majoring in Ethnic Studies for Law so I obviously have a deep hatred for sleep and injustice. I love reading, have a minor obsession with comics, and to sketch weird stuff at 3 am. My email is: srrichardson@unm.edu

Treasurer: Calvin Koelbel

My name is Calvin Koelbel and I’m the District Treasurer for the Southwest District of CKI for the 2017-18 term! I’m a student at Arizona State University. I will have received my BS in Microbiology in the spring of 2018 from ASU and I am currently pursuing my MS in Molecular and Cellular Biology. I work at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale as a Research Affiliate in a cancer research lab. I am also involved in Colleges Against Cancer, and Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honors society. After receiving my Master’s degree, I plan on working as an EMT and researcher for a year or two, then applying to a medical school to study to become an oncologist. In my spare time, I like to play video games, listen to music, play my violin, play basketball and racquetball, and swim! I am super stoked for this year and the opportunity I’ve had to get more involved in CKI! My email is: cjkoelbe@asu.edu

Bulletin Editor: Maddie Dunn

Maddie Dunn is a major in something at UNM. She likes long walks on the beach, and simultaneously not getting pinched by crabs. She hopes to one day revolutionize the United States government through a viral exposé from the comfort of her Canadian home. Her favorite CKI tenet is service, because it makes her feel like she’s doing something good with her life. My email is: madelinedunn@unm.edu
