Board Meetings

Welcome! Here you will find a summary regarding what the district board talks about in their meetings. This is a great resource to know what is going on within the district. July 1st:

A date and location were chosen for DLSSP. The Fall Rally theme was also chosen, and a design for socks for our district fundraiser was also chosen. We will order 201 and sell them for $12/pair. Kiwanis DCON is coming up, governor visits should be kept in mind. Monthly tasks will be assigned to every board member during their one-on-ones.

August 5th:

The DLSSP date changed. Everyone is encouraged to apply for international committee. A new format for DCON awards was discussed. A fundraising goal was set for Jusoor and WASH. The Fall Rally logo was looked over and suggestions were made. The international person request was discussed.

September 8th:

Socks were distributed. The DLSSP date was changed to April 6th. The board will be endorsing the bylaw amendment changing lieutenant governor to lieutenant governor (s) in the bylaws. The policy code putting a resignation process into place passes. Kiana Russo is voted to fill the Lieutenant Governor position. The RMD and CNH fall events were discussed. The DCON slogan was voted on. James Phelps becomes the District Administrator for the upcoming year.

October 20th:

CKI week was discussed and presidents were given a general overview as well directed towards resources. Clubs were encouraged to apply for the tomorrow fund. Jusoor and the GoFundMe page for it were discussed. DCON plans and ideas for it were discussed. Awards for DCON and governor visits were also discussed.
